General Services Administration Awards Leidos Contract to Support U.S. Army's C4ISR Prototyping Operations

Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), a FORTUNE 500® science, information technology, and engineering leader, announced today it was awarded a follow-on task order by the General Services Administration (GSA) to provide mission support services to the U.S. Army's Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC) Prototyping Integration and Testing Division (PI&TD). The single-award follow-on task order has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options, and a total contract value of approximately $230 million. Work will primarily be performed in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., with additional support at Fort Bragg, N.C. and Tobyhanna Army Depot, Pa.

CERDEC uses its unique set of core competencies to develop, integrate and deliver innovative technology solutions that inform and empower soldiers at all levels and help protect them from surprise attack. Leidos will support CERDEC's PI&TD by delivering equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials and other items and services necessary to perform Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems integration. Leidos' work will help PI&TD integrate C4ISR systems into military and aerospace equipment and weapons systems, as well as support evaluation exercises.

With a focus on innovative engineering capabilities, Leidos has demonstrated proven performance to support the critical path of specialty equipment and successful prototyping and integration for PI&TD. Leidos and its teammates developed a custom, web-based material tracking and procurement system, called InView, able to meet PI&TD's unique needs.

"Leidos is pleased to be supporting our customer with prototyping efforts in new technologies across the Department of Defense's C4ISR community," said Mike Chagnon, Leidos Advanced Solutions Group President. "This work is critical in an environment in which the Army is seeking to stay in front of emerging needs and opportunities within the multi-dimensional battlespace."
