EOIR Technologies, Inc. Awarded $15 Million CP&I Contract
EOIR Technologies, Inc., a portfolio company of The White Oak Group, announced today that it was awarded a $15 million Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract for the U.S. Army Command, Power and Integration (CP&I) Directorate within the Communications-Electronics Research, Development, and Engineering Center (CERDEC). Under this contract, EOIR will provide the CP&I Directorate with a comprehensive approach to developing, integrating, training, and transitioning Mission Command applications and technologies.
Ricardo Lorenzo, Vice President of EOIR's Intelligence & Combat Information (ICI) Directorate, made the announcement. "EOIR has a lot of expertise designing and developing technologies that enhance situational awareness on the battlefield." said Lorenzo. "We look forward to working with the CP&I Directorate to enhance the abilities of lower echelon and tactical units to perform Mission Command, effectively execute tasks that impact decision making, and better respond to Commander's Intent."
The EOIR Team will provide support capabilities that will allow units to respond to tactical and operational challenges on and around the battlefield, reduce enemy tactical surprise, and support the infrastructure without compromising tactical advantage of time, speed, and situational acuity. Decision support tools will exploit logistical, operational, and situational data and other available information for both individual and collaborative engagements. Using context specific real time or near real time information, these tools will complement the agility and flexibility of the Soldier with capabilities that increase staff expertise and enhance decision making.
This award has a 1 year period of performance with 2 option years.
