Hamilton Sundstrand, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX), has been selected by General Dynamics Land Systems for the Stryker Modernization Generator Subsystem Engineering and Manufacturing Development verification and validation program.

Stryker is a family of armored troop transport and combat vehicles for the U.S. Army. Strykers provide unprecedented speed and flexibility in getting infantry to the fight - in urban or open environments.

Hamilton Sundstrand's generator subsystem will be capable of delivering 125kW/600vdc output power to meet the current and future needs of the vehicle and the Stryker Brigade Combat Team.  The increased power generated is required to support future communication and control suites and enhanced mission packages that will enable increased interoperability across the future combat system network.
