Serco Awarded $20 Million Single-Award IDIQ to Support U.S. Navy Price Fighters Program
Serco Inc., a provider of professional, technology, and management services, announced the Company has been awarded a single-award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) Price Fighters contract to provide cost, price and engineering analyses for the U.S. Navy. The contract has a $20 million ceiling value over a one-year base period and 3 one-year options plus a six-month option period.
Under the contract, Serco will continue providing engineering-based cost analysis supporting the Navy, Army, Air Force, and DoD in negotiating lower prices on weapons systems and parts, saving taxpayer dollars in the process. The Price Fighters program was established to support Federal government acquisition officials as they made critical procurement decisions. Serco has been providing critical, mission-essential acquisition support on a wide range of major DoD weapons systems for 20 years, and the Company's efforts have generated over $1B in cost savings.
