TASC Awarded $37.9 Million Task Order to Provide Engineering Support for Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division

TASC wins SeaPort-e task order to support U.S. Navy radar systems

The U.S. Navy's Naval Sea Systems Command, Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division, has awarded TASC, Inc., a task order to provide engineering and technical support for its rotating surveillance radar systems. TASC will serve as the prime contractor on the task order, which is valued at $37.9 million over one base and two option years.

“The Navy's Command and Control Solutions Directorate maintains fleet superiority through weapons systems modernization, maritime domain awareness and systems operability," says Tom Kilcline, vice president of TASC's Defense Business Unit. "TASC is committed to supporting the Navy in ensuring our nation's warships and the radar systems are ready for combat."

TASC will provide acquisition engineering, in-service engineering, software engineering, installations, warehousing, software engineering and programmatic support, as well as logistics and supply chain systems support at the Virginia Beach Detachment of the Port Hueneme Division.
